01
Day 1: Journey from Cusco to Rainforest Hideaway
Commence our adventure from Cusco aboard a private coach, crossing picturesque mountain terrains to the quaint town of Paucartambo. Briefly explore this charming town, then head towards Tres Cruces, the gateway to Manu’s Cultural Zone and the mesmerizing cloud forest. Our journey continues to San Pedro, where we’ll witness the majestic Cock of the Rock, Peru’s iconic bird, showcasing its dazzling display. As the day ends, retreat to our secluded Rainforest Hideaway.

Day 2: Rainforest Retreat to Manu Wild Nature Sanctuary
Our day starts with a drive to Atalaya, making a pitstop at a fascinating coca farm and a viewpoint overlooking the vast jungle and rivers. From Atalaya, we cruise to Aguas Calientes, famous for its rejuvenating hot springs. As we sail, keep an eye out for vibrant bird species and scenic views. By afternoon, we reach Manu Wild Nature Sanctuary. Post evening explorations, enjoy a nocturnal stroll spotting spiders, frogs, and snakes. We then rest at the Manu Wild Lodge.

Day 3: Exploring Manu Wild and Night at Camouflage Treehouse
Discover Wild’s rich biodiversity, encountering monkeys, birds, and colossal trees. As night approaches, we set up at the mammal clay lick treehouse, hoping to spot wild pigs and tapirs. Enjoy a unique treetop sleepover, under the protective veil of mosquito nets.

Day 4: River Voyage to Matchiguenka Lodge
Early birds catch the best sights! We start with a boat ride through the Manu River Reserve Zone, pausing at the national park checkpoint. Our water journey promises sightings of capybaras, monkeys, and possibly jaguars! The day concludes at Matchiguenka Lodge, a serene retreat managed by the local Matchiguenka tribe, offering rustic rooms and engaging activities.

Day 5: Day at Matchiguenka
Discover Cocha Salvador’s pristine lake, watching out for giant otters and myriad bird species. The day continues with a visit to Cocha Otorongo, with its towering observation deck. Revel in a day full of jungle wonders before heading back to Matchiguenka Lodge.

Day 6: Matchiguenka to Manu Wildlife Hub
Start with a vibrant river journey, possibly catching a glimpse of the elusive jaguar. After a refreshing picnic lunch, we sail to the Manu Wildlife Center, our night’s haven.

Day 7: Manu Wildlife Spectacle to Manu Wild Reserve
Embark on a dawn boat trip to the bustling Macaw Clay Lick, a paradise for bird enthusiasts. Later, journey upstream to the Manu Wild Reserve for a serene night.

Day 8: Manu Wild to Cusco
Rejuvenate with an early start, boat riding to Atalaya. From there, our private coach will whisk you through cloud forests back to Cusco, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.
