01
Day 1:
Journey from Cusco to Rainforest Lodge Kick off your adventure departing from Cusco on our private transport. Traverse scenic mountain routes, making a pitstop at the culturally-rich town of Paucartambo. After, we head to Tres Cruces, gateway to Manu’s Cultural Zone and its enchanting cloud forests. Explore San Pedro’s biodiversity, including the vibrant Cock of the Rock (Peru’s national bird) and playful monkeys. Conclude the day at our Rainforest Lodge.

Day 2:
Rainforest Lodge to Manu Wild Reserve Post breakfast, drive towards Atalaya, pausing to witness a coca plantation and a panoramic jungle view. Board a boat to Aguas Calientes and rejuvenate in its hot springs. The boat ride showcases the Amazon’s best – birds, animals, and mesmerizing landscapes. By evening, we reach Manu Wild E.R., with a nighttime exploration in store. Retreat to Manu wild Lodge for a restful night.

Day 3:
Manu Wild Reserve Exploration Today, immerse in the thick of the jungle, packing essentials and lunch. Witness diverse wildlife – from monkeys to magnificent eagles. Later, visit a mammals clay lick, observing nocturnal habits of creatures like tapirs and deer. Experience an overnight nature watch in shifts.

Day 4:
Manu Wild to Casa Matsiguenka (Biosphere Reserve) Embark on a morning boat ride to Boca Manu, followed by an expedition along the Manu River, culminating at the Casa Matsiguenka Lodge. Witness the shores teeming with birds and animals, including the elusive jaguar. Enjoy native interactions at the lodge, capping off with a nocturnal walk. Casa Matsiguenka Highlights: A native lodge with private trails. Modern amenities like warm showers, twin rooms, and mosquito nets ensure comfort.

Day 5:
Casa Matsiguenka Adventures An early start at Cocha Salvador offers views of rare otters and herons. Post lunch, explore Cocha Otorongo Lake from an observation tower, scouting for otters and caimans. Wrap up the day at Casa Matsiguenka after learning about the jungle ecosystem.

Day 6:
Casa Matsiguenka to Blanquillo Lodge Set out for Pakitza ranger station. The trip offers potential sightings of the world’s tiniest monkeys – Tamarins. Afternoon trails expose more botanical wonders, concluding with a boat ride to Tambo Blanquillo. Stay overnight here.

Day 7:
Blanquillo to Puerto Maldonado Begin at dawn, boating to the parrot and Macaw Clay Lick, a feast for birdwatchers. The journey concludes with a boat ride to Boca Colorado and a bus to Puerto Maldonado. Overnight in a local lodge.

Day 8:
Puerto Maldonado to Cusco/Lima Post breakfast, opt for a bus to Cusco or fly to Cusco/Lima (additional charges). Those heading to Lima can connect with international flights.
