Day 1: Departure from Cusco to Rainforest Retreat

Begin your adventure departing from Cusco on a private transport, stopping over at Ninamarca’s pre-Inca tombs. Traverse the mountains to reach Paucartambo, a culturally-rich town. Proceed to Tres Cruces, the gateway to Manu’s Cultural Region and the misty forests. Our destination for the night is our very own Rainforest Retreat.

Day 2: From Rainforest to Manu Wild Reserve

Post breakfast, journey to Atalaya with scenic views and wildlife spotting. Our next stop is Aguas Calientes for a natural hot spring dip. By dusk, we reach the Manu Wild Reserve, followed by a nocturnal adventure spotting diverse species.

Day 3: Venturing to Matsiguenka Abode

The day commences with a boat ride along the Alto Madre de Dios River, leading into the Conservation Zone. Midway, engage in a nature walk, hoping for a jaguar sighting. By evening, rest at Matsiguenka Abode, owned by the indigenous Matchiguenka tribe.

Day 4: Exploration at Matsiguenka Abode

Visit Cocha Salvador by morning, enjoying the vast species on a catamaran. Journey through the untouched rainforest to Cocha Otorongo Lake, with its towering observation spot. Spend the night back at the abode.

Day 5: Return to Manu Wild, Night at Mammals’ Clay Nook

Bid farewell to Matsiguenka and proceed to the Manu Wild Reserve. Come night, we head to a concealed dwelling near a clay lick, anticipating sightings of wild pigs and tapirs.

Day 6: Journey to Rainforest Retreat

Explore the surrounding areas in the morning, followed by a boat trip to Atalaya. We return to our Rainforest Retreat for a relaxing evening.
